FOOL FOR CARIN

Carin Wester's design is eminent. Love, love, love the shoes. They sell it in Tjallamalla in Malmö, so I have to go there very soon.

I just got holiday from school cause of Easter. It's weird, but I'm not really in the light-yellow spring mood right the second. I'll just wait for it to hit me.

ZADIG & VOLTAIRE - A FRENCH SPECIALITY

Zadig & Voltaire is a French label. The clothes got that special aura to it, that make you "trust" it. Z&V's speciality is cashmere-sweaters with small details like a line of buttons or an embroidered insect on the back. It's all very rock 'n' roll, but also down to earth.

Here's a little cut out of their look book - see for yourself on ZadigEtVoltaire.com!

CHANEL

I just found this beautiful picture on Chanel's website, taken of Karl Lagerfeld himself. Actually he makes lots of the campaigns for the brand, and he is a very talented photographer.
This picture is taken for French Numéro Homme in Shanghai, and is with Freja Beha Erichsen (center) who is one of Karl's favourite models (and she is Danish too!). I think the hair is impressing in it's way-too-muchness, and really like the necklaces!

FROM SILLY TO SERIOUS

The last time I got a haircut, I got a tiny fringe - but know ladies and gentlemen, I am going serious with it! I like it veeeery much, and have been taking pictures of it for the blog for 5 minutes (embarrassing).
I must out and flash it now - being inside when the sun is shining, is too much to bear, even when I got homework to do..

WET GARDEN

You will find me in the garden
You will find me in the rain
I am nothing less
And nothing more
Than the tears on the leaves
The tears on my cheek

TEA PARTY

Alice In Wonderland was as wonderful as I could hope for! I simply was amazed! From now on I will try to walk like the White Queen (like a royal bird, or something). To you who haven't seen it yet - RUN to the cinema!

As mentioned before, we were out drinking tea before our visit to Wonderland. I had to take some pictures from the tea-drinking-place called Café T (Danish playing with the words here), which is fantastic. All furniture and service are bought from flea markets, and they sell (gladly) if you fall in love with a teaspoon, chair or anything else. On the desk there's loads of old fashioned candy as caramels (in 7 different colours and flavours), chocolate, liquorice and right now also purple and gold-wrapped Easter eggs (did not get a photo of the desk - maybe because I dropped my purse..).
A pot of tea costs 25 DKK, and you choose from around 30, I think. When it comes to coffee they are the best in town as well, and a latte (big one, I might add) costs 32 DKK.

So if you in some way come near Køge - visit Café T!

IN THE MIDDLE OF CLOUDS

I've been eating brunch with my family and my parents friends. I have 3 sisters and they have 3 children as well. Imagine 6 children in an age-range from 16 months to 8 years running around in the same house. Very nice.

Well, today it will be the day of Alice In Wonderland! I'm going to Wonderland with my friend Rikke, who is as sweet as sugar and as mad as the famous Hatter. We are for once going local, and to be honest, it's more cosy that way. Tea first, then to the cinema at 4 pm. Cinema in the afternoon reminds me of watching films with my grandma and cousin when I was around 6 years old.

I like this dress from Alexander Wang (at YouHeShe.com), with these Marni earrings (Net-a-porter.com) Here, in the middle of clouds, my thoughts again and again flips to summer. There's nothing to do but wait, but I'm so impatient.

Peace, love and Wonderland,
xx Amanda

THE RED LIPS

Sorry for the slowdown in posts - I haven't really been in the mood..

But here's finally the red lips I was talking about! I got the lipstick from uncle B (sounds so disgusting - which it isn't!) and I think he got it perfectly right. It's weareable - here with Won Hundred shirt and vintage earrings.

Enjoy the weekend!

MIU MIU CAMPAIGN

In the world of fashion everybody lover Miuccia Prada. Some might say that she is bigger than Karl Lagerfeld, and I will give them a thumb up for that one (sorry Karl). But there's something very unique about Prada's style, I like that she is willing to experiment.

Prada's cheaper (everything is relative, you know) and younger line "Miu Miu" is wearing the most perfect looks this summer - just take a look on the campaign!

PS: I love the heels in wood, silk and shiny stones.

POINTED TOES THIS AUTUMN?

I think of Beverly Hills 90210 when I see a pointed toe on a shoe. With that follows green satin dresses with saghetti strops. You guessed right - I don't like shoes with pointed toes!
But now (!) Stella McCartney AND Prada has made that kind of shoes, and they've been walking down the catwalk in both Milano and Paris. I'm in chock. Just a little bit.

Sleep tight!

The first two pictures are with shoes from Stella McCartney (http://thelovemagazineblog.wordpress.com/) and the last one is from Prada (www.style.com).

THE BOOK

I love books. Novelles and coffee table-books with beautiful pictures are my favorites. Now I have decided to make one myself. I will steal pictures (big time) from magazines, and put them together in a book with my own comments and sketches.
The first couple of pages has been made, and there's a title on every two pages.

Here's the beginning - in this book there will be no ending!

PS: I would love to see the Oscars this night (local time, Denmark), but I don't have the channel. I'm so sick of being little miss Denmark who isn't able to see that kind of things.

LAST NIGHT

This hours are my last as a 15-year-old. It's weird how the years never hold what you think they will, but I'm actually satisfied with this one. Of course the next will be much more spectacular - because of starting in a new school etc., but also because i feel more and more secure on how to be and what to do. I want to experience this world with that growing secureness behind all I do.

This next year of my life, may not hold everything I wish for. But I can hope! I really want to travel, I want to do reckless stuff -I want to stand on that cliff and scream, you know. This might just be the thoughts of youth, but I'm really to young to think about that!

WHILE WE'RE WAITING FOR THE SUN

I've been so happy today! My project in school is almost done and the sun is shining! Light is very important, and it has been great for the last couple of days.

This spring I want to go army, and that in one of those new green jackets. Army is nice because of the sporty fierceness and the great colors. This one is from Balmain, I would actually like to find one that's a little more personal (and less expensive). There's this little store in Malmö that sells old military stuff that I might need to visit very soon!

Enjoy the light and look for snowdrops!
