What's In Your Clutch, Girl?

Men, boys, guys. Fathers, friends, boyfriends - even somebody I crush into in the street, are manking fun of my bags, cluthes, purses, ect. You know how they say: "Women has their whole life in a bag". I'm getting sick and tired of it - it's so unfair! They can mess up their apartment, car, BAG, and it's soooo okay - because it's a man/guy.

I simply will not put up with this, and that's why I'm going to show you how important my clutch (it would be way to boring if I took a larger bag..) is to me.

You already know my Tiger..

But what's IN it??
From left to right: 1.USB-key, 2. My keys in my Marc-key-chain, 3. Tickets, 4. Creditcards, 5. Nail file, 6. My highly beloved iPod, 7. Digital camera from Casio, 7 1/2. Stella McCartney . StellaNude, 8. Earings from Zarah Voigt, 9. Coins, 10. Book: Aldous Huxley - "Brave new world" (Danish version), 11. Bandages, 12. Pen, 13. Eyeliner from Chanel, 14. Mascara from MAC, 15. Lipstick from YSL (Spicy Pink), 16. Box for pills (got horses on it), 17. Rosebud lipbalm, 18. Pocket-knife, 19. Mobile: Sony Ericsson "Jalou" (black).

I have everything I need in this little bag. I love music (iPod), I love reading (book), I love to take photos (cam, dummy!) - and of course I need my lipstick! Wanna be a lady? - pack your bag right!

I'ts Her With The Fashion Phone!

I have been dreaming about this phone i a month now, and now I finally can make my calls from it! I really love the whole diamond-thing, because this phone actually looks pretty. If Marilyn was alive, she would definently appreciate a F100i!
The campaign is also very fashionista. Well done Sony Ericsson!

(Real photos will follow these in a couple of days!)

Thank Jesus - It's Organic!

It's COP15, and I think it's important! I really, really hope that all those crazy politicians figure something out.. But while we are all waiting, for just a little result, we can all go shopping! - (or go hunt down Arnold??).

I went to H&M Tuesday to take a look at the Sonia Rykiel-lingerie. Well, I didn't get home with any of that (I simply looked like super trashy, sorry), but I found this t-shirt! It's creme, a little over sized, got a sweet motive - aaaaand - it's organic!! Beyond that, it looks very nice with my Tiger-clutch! Uhh, how much do we love H&M? - VERY MUCH!!!

Grrr.. The Tiger has Arrived!

I ordered this beautiful Tiger of Sweden-clutch last Sunday - and I got it in my hands today! I love it, I love it!

I was a little sad because I decided not to by the Mulberry clutch in Amsterdam (prize: 400 Euros), but I must say that it maybe was a little clever.. When I came to Copenhagen Airport (by the way - it's an impressive airport), I got to think about that Tiger could be an alternative. And there I found this cognac-colored-soft-leather-clutch, and was completely sold. - I just wanted it in black!

Tinsel and the New Haircut

It is - da-da-da-duum - December 1st today! Therefore my school uses the day for making Christmas decorations, and eating cake. We decorated our local (some of us with out that much effort) played poker and ate breakfast together. It's kind of nice - but also a little overdone.

After school I went home with my friend, and his mother - who is a hairdresser - cut my hair.
It is SO amazing! I never thought that it could be such a thrill to have a fringe!

The BIG Question

I went to school today (surprise!) and had to hear what I've missed, so that I can catch up with the others.. My friend told me that I should make an essay for this Friday.

The subject: What is life for?

First I just thought; "Yeah, okay then -coming up", but when i really got to think about it wasn't that easy. Because, what is this hole thing about? Maybe there isn't any meaning at all, or maybe I just don't wanna know it?
If we really go down to the bottom, is our big mission then just reproduction? Or happiness - and what is that? 'Cuz you simply can't be happy all the time. It sometimes comes in a glimpse, and then disappear again.
But maybe life is about dying? Without death you wouldn't want to live, I think. We do what we do because we have a "deadline". If we haven't done what we want to do before death, it's just too bad.! That deadline make me feel that I have to do something.

The Buys

You have to see the stuff i bought in The Land of the Tulip!

The puffy circus-skirt is from a vintage store called Episode on Berenstraat in Jordaan (can also be found in Paris, London, Brussel, Rotterdam and Antwerpen). I also visited other vintage stores, and Laura Dols was adoring! It's really annoying that I didn't thought about taking some pictures in there, 'cuz it was extraordinary!

The ballerina is from the Christmas-market in Bijenkorf (department store). It was a really odd selection of stilettos, mobile phones, mushrooms, Dutch Santa (Sinterklaas), and much more - all for the Christmas tree!

The Goodbye Amsterdam

It was kind of sad actually. First i realized that I went from home with the wrong camera-laptop-plug, then my laptop passed out because of a low battery (Danish plugs don't fit into Dutch sockets). So none of the promised blogging fro there..
But I will - of course - try to compensate for the missing history! Therefore you'll get a lot of pictures of the beautiful canals (there's more than Venice!), architecture, and lights.

People (those from LonelyPlanet for example) says that there isn't any Christmas-decorations there's worth mentioning in Amstel-land, but i simple MUST disagree! It's maybe not as big (and tacky?) as it is in London, or as romantic as Paris - but it's just cozy. See for yourself!

The World of Coffeeshops

This is a chaos. It simply has to be said. But it's nice walking down the canals, while the sun make the water sparkle, though.. Here's kind of beautiful i a sick way - like a blue tulip.

When we found the hotel (it was like 13.00 or something) I had already seen the five first hash-smokers. When we leaved the hotel after a short time we saw all the prostitutes in the windows. It's kind of funny (or maybe just bizarre) that they sit there in their underwear, reading a magazine, talking on the phone, and then - woops! - she got a costumer.

I've been to the Historic Museum which was - big. It's holding a lot disgusting paintings actually. The kids looks mean, and the men smile in a knowing way, while the women just not is especially presence.

The best of today's experiences must be the impressing bookshops and Café Hoppe on Spui [Square], and the restaurant Brasserie Harkema (Nes 67) where I got the best vegetarian lasagna ever!

Worst? Hm, might be the time when I walked down a street in the Redlight District 2pm and two guys yelled: "Hey lady - looking good! Want some smoke?!". It was maybe only bad because I hold my mothers hand that moment. Awkward.

The Packing-Thing

I love, love, love when it's time for packing! It's kind of the unofficial start on the trip.
You find out what you want to wear, mix the clothes, so that you can use it together in different ways, and pack a lot of accessories so that you can spice it up a little bit. The best thing is when you organizes it and put it in the suitcase (I myself "think in squares")!

Here's my suitcase. I just need to put down my laptop and toiletries - then I'm ready!

Rain and the Lists

I don't like the rain. It's cold, wet and it mess up my hair.. The drops hangs on my window as tears. This negative perspective came up when I checked the weather of Amsterdam. It's all rainy! I just hope they can keep the water in the canals..
But a little splash of water simply can't ruin my expectations for the trip.! Maybe in Amsterdam rain drops don't look like tears, but like diamonds?

I hope rain is okay for museums, shopping and cafés, 'cuz then I think I can handle it.
Here you got my lists:

Museums I'm going to visit:
*Amsterdam Historic Museum
*Anne Franks House
*Van Gogh Museum
*FOAM (photo museum)

Places to do some serious shopping:
*The vintage boutiques in "The Nine Streets"
*Magna Plaza (it should be a lot like Harrod's!)
*Dam Square (maybe just window shopping around here?)

I really hope that i I'll find:
*Some nice midi-high brouges (shoes)
*Classic, black clutch
*Dress with lace details

Cross your fingers for the rain to stop! I'll be really grateful :-)

Hello Miss Styleikon

Sometimes when I see celebrities on the red carpet, I just want to scream! They are getting all the clothes in the wold for free, and then they choose the ugliest dress ever! See for example Shakira's very yellow, very short and very boring thing at the AMA's (http://www.peoplestylewatch.com/people/stylewatch/gallery/0,,20321877,00.html#20708036) - nice shoes though..

The thing is, that I really think, people should have better inspiration opportunities than that. My fav stars in that matter is french actress Audrey Tautou, rocky Alice Dellal with the undercut, and of course Leighton Meester!

Here Leighton wears Louis Vuitton at one of the label's shows. Watch and learn people! ;-)

Planning, planning!

I am REALLY going to Amsterdam this Thursday! I'm so excited, and I must say that it have been difficult to wait. I'm like a little child three days before Christmas - I want to get to it, and I want it to last forever!

I have done everything to make the time go faster and funnier. I have planned the whole trip (and with that I mean scheduled), found the best shopping and eating and besides been talking a lot about it! I even had to go watch "New Moon"!

So, now's only the packing left! It's really maybe one of the best parts, and I like writing the packing list. It's all about being smart and sneaky about what to wear - it have to fit the climate and still look fab!

Something fab is for example this necklace that I bought i H&M yesterday. I fell in love when I saw it in a magazine, and have only been confirmed! :D
